The Get-A-Grip Club

 

Additional information about the Consultation Only Package

 

I have many clients who do not have the availability to train with The Get-A-Grip Club, so often I train them on a one-on-one basis. 

 

The following takes place during the 1 Hour evaluation:

        t Take circumference measurements

        t Take body fat percentage

        t Take weight measurement

        t Discuss previous fitness experience and/or injuries

        t Discuss goals

        t Assemble time line to show realistic progress that is to be expected

        t Nutrition counseling, if needed

 

Once the evaluation has taken place I can design a workout that is specific to my clients needs.  Usually it consists of three workouts to do during the week.

 

We schedule a training session once a month. At the beginning of each session we do measurements and review the clients progress.  Then I walk through a new set of workouts with them to do on their own throughout the following month.

 

Each workout is tailored to the clients needs.  At the end of each week my clients report to me via email how they did with the workouts and I will adjust them (increasing weight, sets or reps) as needed and email it back to them.

This style of training takes much discipline on the clients behalf.  It works well for those who want to expand their knowledge in fitness and have the motivation and the desire to incorporate a program into their schedule and commit to it.  It also works well for clients with hectic schedules that do not have a set time to workout.

 

I often tell my clients that it helps to think of the training as a class.  I usually recommend that they keep a food journal so that they can learn what foods work well for weight loss and what foods have sneaky calories in them.  Doing the workouts serves as a mandatory class attendance and calorie logging is mandatory homework.  The evaluation each month is the test and it tells me if they’ve been a good student or not.

 

This package costs $250, which includes one (1) full evaluation, four (4) body composition evaluations and four (4) client specific designed workouts.
